love story, mystery (Scholastic Starter, RL 2)
Junko is a Japanese student learning English in London. She is lonely, so she decides to start a blog. On her blog, she meets someone called Slow Boy... This book was interesting because I understand Junko's feelings. When I studied abroad, I spent a lot of time in internet cafes. Sometimes it was difficult to make friends with students from other countries. Junko tries to make friends and has some funny things happen to her. It was fun and easy to read. (Nick Medley, ELEA CX)
I really love this book. I'm always surprised at students' reaction to the story. WHO IS SLOW BOY!?
